Tiến sĩ, Bác sĩ Phạm Văn Hậu là chuyên gia về Dịch tễ học, với hơn 30 năm kinh nghiệm trong nghiên cứu, giảng dạy và triển khai các chương trình phòng chống dịch bệnh. Thầy tốt nghiệp Bác sĩ y khoa (1991) và Tiến sĩ Dịch tễ học (2009). Thầy từng công tác tại Viện Pasteur TP. Hồ Chí Minh và là chuyên gia tư vấn về dịch tễ học bệnh truyền nhiễm của WHO. Hiện nay, Thầy là Trưởng Bộ môn Y tế Công cộng, Trường Đại học Quốc tế Hồng Bàng
Hướng nghiên cứu tập trung vào dịch tễ học bệnh truyền nhiễm. Thầy đã chủ trì và tham gia nhiều đề tài nghiên cứu các cấp và quốc tế, với gần 100 công bố khoa học trên các tạp chí uy tín trong và ngoài nước, bao gồm nhiều bài báo Q1. Thầy tham gia bình duyệt cho nhiều tạp chí quốc tế cũng như chủ trì các phiên của hội nghị khoa học quốc tế.
Trong lĩnh vực đào tạo, Thầy đóng góp tích cực vào phát triển nguồn nhân lực y tế thông qua xây dựng chương trình và giảng dạy các học phần về dịch tễ học, phương pháp nghiên cứu cho sinh viên và học viên sau đại học, cũng như hướng dẫn nhiều sinh viên và học viên làm nghiên cứu tại nhiều cơ sở đào tạo trong cả nước.
Dr. Hau Pham is an expert in Epidemiology with over 30 years of experience in research, teaching, and implementing disease prevention and control programs. He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree (1991) and a PhD in Epidemiology (2009). He previously worked at the Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City and was a consultant on infectious disease epidemiology for the WHO. Currently, He is the Head of the Department of Public Health at Hong Bang International University.
Dr. Pham’s research focuses on infectious disease epidemiology. He has led and participated in research at international and national levels as Principal Investigator or Investigator, with ~100 scientific publications in domestic and international journals, including in Q1 journals. He has participated in peer review for international journals and moderator sessions of international scientific conferences.
In the field of education, Dr. Pham has made significant contributions to the development of healthcare human resources by developing curricula and teaching courses on epidemiology and research methods for undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as adviser for students and postgraduates in research at various training institutions or universities nationwide.
