TS. Nguyễn Tuấn Kiệt hiện là Phó Giáo sư Kinh tế tại Đại học Kinh tế TP. Hồ Chí Minh (UEH). Ông nhận bằng Tiến sĩ Kinh tế (Kinh tế học hành vi và thực nghiệm) tại Đại học Sydney, Úc. Hướng nghiên cứu chính của ông bao gồm kinh tế học ứng dụng và quản trị, kinh tế học hành vi và thực nghiệm, cũng như kinh tế môi trường và tài nguyên, đặc biệt tập trung vào các vấn đề phát triển tại Việt Nam và khu vực Đồng bằng sông Cửu Long. Ông đã công bố nhiều bài báo trên các tạp chí quốc tế uy tín như Environmental and Resource Economics, Applied Economics, Journal of Agricultural Economics, International Journal of Finance & Economics và The Singapore Economic Review. Các nghiên cứu của ông thường phân tích hành vi ra quyết định trong điều kiện rủi ro, hành vi của nông hộ, chính sách môi trường và các xu hướng kinh tế mới như thanh toán không dùng tiền mặt hay hành vi tiêu dùng trực tuyến. Bên cạnh nghiên cứu, ông giảng dạy các môn vi mô, vĩ mô, phương pháp nghiên cứu, kinh tế học hành vi và kinh tế học ứng dụng ở bậc đại học và sau đại học.
Dr. Kiet T. Nguyen is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), Vietnam. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics (Behavioral and Experimental Economics) from the University of Sydney, Australia. His research focuses on applied and managerial economics, behavioral and experimental economics, and environmental and resource economics, with particular attention to development issues in Vietnam and the Mekong Delta. Dr. Nguyen has published widely in international journals such as Environmental and Resource Economics, Applied Economics, Journal of Agricultural Economics, International Journal of Finance & Economics, and The Singapore Economic Review. His research often examines decision-making under risk, farmer behavior, environmental policy, and emerging economic behaviors such as digital payments and online consumer interactions. He has also led and participated in several funded research projects supported by organizations such as NAFOSTED, EEPSEA, and the British Academy. In addition to his research, he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, research methodology, behavioral economics, and applied economics.
